Finally My Very Own Beeswax Tutorial.

As much as I love to work with beeswax I just never have gotten around to making a tutorial that shows how I like to use it best. Finally, I took the time and created the following tutorials that will show you step by step, how to make a beautiful wall hanging out of the simplest of supplies. I hope you will forgive the constant sound of the heat gun in the video but it was a very cold morning and I had a bit of trouble keeping the wax hot enough to work without it. The completed tutorial does take a little while to wacth but I hope you will find it enjoyable.

*As always, remember to pause the music below before watching the videos and enlarge the screen for closer viewing if you wish.

  4. Thank you, girls, for all the nice feedback on my tutorial! I remember the very first time I worked with beeswax and all the questions that I had as I worked with it. I hope I have answered all the ones that you might have had before trying out beeswax. If not, please email me and I will gladly help you to work with this wonderful medium anytime. :)

  5. Hi Cindy.

Thanks for the great tutorial. I tried some beeswax projects a few months ago but wasn't entirely happy with the results. After watching your video I'm anxious to try again.

    Happy New Year!

  7. Great Tutorial! I too have wanted to try beeswax, but do you think a thin vintage hankie would work? You gave me an idea and I'm not sure it'll work. What do ya think?

  8. Hmmmm....now that's an interesting one Melody. I'm not sure how a vintage hankie would work. In theory it seems like it would adhere to the beeswax ok but I'm not certain if it would have a transparent look when finished. If it were to work I would think that you would have a better chance with using the white beeswax instead of the natural. Try and see how it turns out with an inexpensive hankie first and then see how it does...keep me posted too as it seems like a very neat idea. :)
