How Do You Spell Relief?

FALL!

That's how I spell relief. Today is the first day of fall and I can't say good riddance to summer fast enough! The hot temperatures here in southern California are just about gone with the exception of this final week where we will see temps above 105 degrees in places.
It's time to throw an extra blankie on the bed and unpack your sweaters and boots. So sit back, relax and enjoy the change of the season.
I know I will!

  1. Yay - someone else who isn't fond of summer!!! I get so so tired of hearing everyone rave about the hot weather - it's icky!!! It is so much harder to cool down then it is to warm up. Last night the temps dropped down to 58, I had all the windows open and just snuggled up in a quilt - it was wonderful and I slept so well!

  2. Bree, you are making me jealous of that nice and cool weather you are enjoying! Summer heat is only fun for the kids in my opinion. The rest of us have to sweat it out and wait for it to pass. I can't wait until I can get my windows open in the evenings too. They haven't been open since May!!! :)

  3. I'm in agreement about wishing for cooler weather. Since I live in Mississippi though, we'll have to wait a bit longer. It's usually hot all the way thru October in this part of the country :-) This collage sheet is gorgeous!!!

Well I love the hot weather, but in the UK we don't tend to get too much, so I tend to make the most of it. I believe Fall is lovely, so enjoy!
