Happy Pink Saturday Everyone!

Happy Pink Saturday To everyone. Beverly's Pink Saturday was created as a way for bloggers to showcase their latest pink creations, inspirations and decor. I had originally planned to do an art piece featuring pink embellishments but alas..I ran out of time. So instead I gathered a few of my favorite pink items laying around the house to share with all the pink ladies out there. Enjoy.

This is a pink baby dress I bought for my niece
before she was born. When she
outgrew it my sister gave it back to me to incorporate
into my home decor.

This stack of hat boxes houses all of my spring
bulbs when they are ready to be stored after the seasons bloom.

This candle and rose set was purchased at a lovely
little shop called Mozart's.

A collection of glass votive vases, a vintage tea light lamp and
a decorative frog jar vase and pill box.

A bowl of gorgeous pink nobs that I am going
to add to a chest of drawers when it is finished.

So there you have it. Sorry for the dark and sub-standard photo quality. I have so much to learn about photography and proper lighting. I did however, get a light box to use as soon as I can find the time to set it up, so there IS hope for me yet. Happy Pink Saturday to you all.

  1. Dear Cindy,
Thank you so much for leaving a comment in my 'Dear you,' blog. It's so nice to get to know people, who have been kind enough to stop by our blogs.

I'm so sorry that you lost your Dear Grandfather. But I'm sure you always brightened his days, with your fun correspondence. So even though you miss him terribly... I hope you can be comforted by knowing this.

And what wonderful memories you stored up, for yourself.

Plus, I hope you saved his letters, which could become a form of a family heirloom actually. Very appropriate for you, who love vintage things.

If you've stopped by my original blog {Aunt Amelia's Attic} you'll know that I love Pink! So I love your post of today!

And I love your Personal Assistant Daisy. I think they are the cutest dogs. A neighbor over a ways, has one, by the name of Lucy. :-)

Mmmmmmmm, would you be interested in trying some correspondence, with me? If so, please send me an e-mail at
la (dot) attico (at) yahoo (dot) com

    Gentle hugs,
    'Aunt Amelia'

  2. Cindy,
I just wanted to stop by and thank you for the sweet comment you posted on my blog. I wish I could take credit for the shredded-paper-in-the-mary-janes idea, but alas, I bought them that way. I thought it was an awesome idea, too. You have a wonderful blog (I'm now following) and your pink post is so pretty. Now I've got to go check out your etsy shop - your jewelry looks beautiful. It's always so nice to find a kindred spirit.

  3. I Love all of your vintage collections. They are classic!
